Feeling peckish?

We heartily recommend the following places for fantastic food.

  • Chilli Pickle Bistro - Alan and Dawn have created an authentic Indian cafe style restaurant in My Hotel. The food is a fusion of Kerelan, Indian and Nepalese.  Advance reservations a must!
  • La Capanina - This is our local Italian and the food is excellent!
  • Food for Friends (Vegetarian) - We enjoy the delicious combinations and friendly atmosphere.
  • Terre a Terre - "the best vegetarian restaurant ever"
  • Bills - Another Brighton gem not to be missed - the food is simply delicious and very fresh - not a typical restaurant but a visit should be paid for either lunch or dinner - reservations cannot be made at lunchtime but you can reserve tables for dinner
  • The Giggling Squid (Thai) - set in brighton Square a casual affair!
  • Riddle and Finns - (used to be Due South - situated on the beach mainly known for its fabulous seafood - does not serve late dinners
  • Englishs - The best seafood and oysters in Brighton. Though the restaurant is quite traditional in decor our guests love it's "old fashioned" theatre like style
  • The Gingerman - A small romantic restaurant in Norfolk Square. Their food is delicious and their price reasonable.  The Gingerman Group are a local Brighton family - they own and run the Ginger Dog and the Ginger Pig and of course the Gingerman. The Ginger Dog and Ginger Pig are pubs with gastro type pub food - a little pricey but always good quality food. For special occassions however or food lovers choose the Gingerman - never heard a bad word about it!
  • Al Duomo - A large italian restaurant near the Royal Pavillion - sometimes lacking in atmosphere as so big but real stonebaked pizza makes it worth a visit. They also run great theme evenings
  • Casa Don Carlos - Fantastic tapas in the Lanes - reservations ahead of time are a must!
  • China Garden - A really authentic excellent Chinese restaurant serving Dim Sum until 3pm daily and an a la carte menu in the evening
  • The Brasserie - Another local Italian with great food and service
  • Riddle and Finns - Chic and trendy second restaurant specialising in seafood - dinner on marble tables and benches with candlelight (you will be sharing your table)
  • Indian Summer - good clean Indian food, lovely atmosphere
  • The Town House - mixed feelings on service but food is good quality (steak )  Restaurant has a nice atmosphere
  • Pomegranate - Very friendly service - turkish food garnished with pomegranates (on everything!)
  • Cote - a small chain restuarant but you wouldnt know it! Beautiful building and great atmosphere - expensive but chic steak type restaurant
  • Iydea - an award winning vegetarian Cafe - perfect for a spot of lunch - really unbelievably good food - closes at 4pm - in Kensington Gardens in the North Laines
  • Plateau - a french style bistro but can be a little tight on table space - good quality ingredients and delicious!
  • The Coalshed - fabulous and good porterhouse steak, some fish - great for an occassion or casual dining
  • Chaula's - south indian for real indian lovers - try the Bhel Puri to start and then go for a thali!
